⚠️ Performance Note

AI Detection features (especially image analysis) use ONNX machine learning models that require decent processing power. Very old devices (pre-2015) may experience slow performance or timeouts.

Why doesn't the extension work on Firefox?

Our extension uses Manifest V3 and Chrome-specific APIs for real-time URL interception. Firefox uses a different extension architecture that doesn't support these features in the same way.

Can I use AI Detective on my iPhone?

Yes! Install the Web App as a PWA (Add to Home Screen from Safari). However, the Chrome Extension features (like POH on social media) are not available on mobile.

Why is Safari support "Limited"?

Safari has partial PWA support, meaning some features like push notifications and background sync may not work. Core detection features work fine.

Do I need both the extension AND web app?

The extension provides real-time protection while browsing. The web app provides on-demand analysis. For maximum protection, use both!
