• Usage Data: Detection history, feature usage, subscription tier
• Device Information: Browser type, OS, device identifiers
• Log Data: IP address, timestamps, referring URLs

• Analytics: Aggregated usage statistics (Azure Application Insights)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide AI detection services (text, image, audio, video analysis)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Verify token holdings for crypto-based access
• Send service updates, security alerts, and support responses
• Improve our AI models and detection accuracy
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Aggregate analytics (anonymized data only)

3. Data Retention & Storage

• Uploaded Content: Deleted after 30 days (or immediately upon request)
• Detection Results: Stored for 90 days for your history
• Account Data: Retained while your account is active + 1 year after closure
• Payment Records: Kept for 7 years (tax/legal requirements)
• Support Tickets: Retained for 3 years
• Backups: May persist in backups for up to 90 days after deletion

Storage Location: Microsoft Azure (US East region, encrypted at rest and in transit)

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We DO NOT sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Microsoft Azure (hosting), Stripe (payments), analytics tools
• Law Enforcement: When required by valid legal process (subpoena, warrant)
• Business Transfers: In event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing

Blockchain Data: AID token transactions are PUBLIC on the blockchain. Wallet addresses and holdings are visible to anyone.

5.1 All Users

• Deletion: Request account and data deletion (see exceptions below)
• Portability: Export your data in machine-readable format

AI Detector is NOT intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us immediately for deletion.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to such transfers. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU data transfers.

11. AI Training & Model Improvement

IMPORTANT: Uploaded content may be used to improve our AI detection models. This includes:

• Training data for machine learning algorithms
• Testing and validation of detection accuracy
• Research and development of new features

Content is anonymized before use. If you do NOT consent, do not upload sensitive or proprietary information.

12. Do Not Track (DNT)

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Changes effective immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification.
